Description
Corner House is an 18th-century house located on Church Street in Sulgrave. It features a datestone inscribed with "J.C.E. 1779" on the right gable. The building is constructed from coursed squared limestone and has an artificial stone slate roof with flanking stone stacks. It stands two storeys tall and has three bays.
The central doorway is framed in plain stone and contains a six-panel door that is part-glazed, topped with a flat stone hood supported by scroll brackets. There are 20th-century bay windows on either side of the entrance. On the first floor, the central window has a plain stone frame and consists of two lights with a transom above. The flanking windows each have three lights with transoms and plain stone frames. The gable ends are coped and feature kneelers. There is a 20th-century extension to the left of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
