Description
Dove Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on Church Street in Sulgrave. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a slate roof with brick and stone stacks. The cottage has two storeys and two bays. The central doorway has a 20th-century glazed door and a wood lintel that extends to the right over a 20th-century metal casement window. To the left, there is a three-light window with a wood lintel and an old iron casement. On the first floor, there are two-light casement windows with wood lintels. There is an extension to the left that dates from the 19th and 20th centuries, which is not considered of special architectural interest. Inside, the cottage features stop-chamfered spine beams, an open fireplace with an 18th or 19th-century timber mantel shelf, and the original timber bressumer remains behind.
