Description

House at 17 London Road, dating from the early to mid-18th century and altered in the 19th century. It is built of coursed squared limestone with a plain tile roof and has a brick stack at one end. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring a three-window range and a two-unit plan. The central door, which is from the 20th century, has a moulded wood surround and a hood supported by brackets. The ground and first floors have 19th-century sash windows, with stone lintels and keyblocks above the ground floor windows. There are also two hipped roof dormers.
