OLD STRATFORD LONDON ROAD (east side) No.15 (Claremont House).

GV II House. Early C19 with earlier origins. Rendered stone or brick, slate roof, brick end stacks. Three storey, three window range. Three-unit plan. Four-panel door to left of centre is approached by two stone steps and has overlight moulded wood surround with fluted Ionic pilasters, plain frieze and moulded cornice. Twenty-pane sash windows to ground and first floors, fifteen-pane sashes to second floor, those to ground and first floors with painted stone lintels and keyblocks. Plinth and moulded wood eaves. Single-storey one window lean-to extension to left has twenty-pane sash window with painted stone lintel and keyblock. Interior not inspected.
