Description
No. 2 Towcester Road is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a plain-tile roof with a brick stack at one end. The house has two storeys and a basement, with a two-window range. The central entrance is a part-glazed panelled door leading to the basement, which is topped by a wooden lintel and flanked by 20th-century windows, also with wooden lintels. The ground and first floors have sash windows with margin panes, all with wooden lintels, except for the left ground floor window, which has a segmental-arched head. Inside, the building has spine beams.
