Description
Rivendell is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of squared, coursed limestone with quoins and features a 20th-century tile roof with brick end stacks. The building has two storeys plus an attic and a three-window range, arranged in a two-unit plan. At the center, there is a plank door with a gabled hood. To the left and on the first floor, there are three-light casements with wood lintels, and a two-light casement is located at the center of the first floor, also with a wood lintel. The house has three 20th-century gabled dormers and a 20th-century stone lean-to at the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
