Description

This is a cottage located at 2 Banbury Road, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features an asbestos roof with brick stacks on either side. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the ground floor, there is a two-light casement window with a wooden lintel in the left bay, and a similar three-light window in the right bay. The first floor has two-light casement windows, also with wooden lintels. The entrance is located at the rear and consists of a wooden lintel above a plank door. Inside, the cottage has been remodelled in the 19th century but retains an original chamfered spine beam.
