Description
Little Bandeleys is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, topped with a thatched roof and featuring brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. A 19th-century bay window is located in the center of the ground floor, which has wooden casements and a flat lead roof. To the left, there is a three-light window with a wooden lintel and wooden mullions, while similar two-light windows are found to the right and on the first floor. The first-floor windows have 18th and 19th-century iron casements, and all windows are fitted with leaded panes. The entrance is at the rear of the cottage. Inside, there are many original features, including the original roof frame, stop-chamfered joists, and spine beams, with some recent modifications to the first floor, which are said to date from around 1680. The interior has not been inspected.
