Description

Ronkswood is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is built from coursed ironstone rubble and features a corrugated asbestos roof with a brick ridge stack. The cottage is two stories high and has a two-window range. There are part-glazed plank doors on both the left and right sides, along with one three-light and three two-light casement windows on the ground and first floors, all with timber lintels. The ground floor windows have chamfered lintels, and there is a blocked central door with a timber lintel and brick eaves. Inside, the cottage includes stop-chamfered spine beams, some stop-chamfered joists, and two open fireplaces with chamfered bressumers. It was formerly two cottages and had a thatched roof.
