Description

Willow Tree House is an early 18th-century house built of squared coursed ironstone with an asbestos tile roof and flanking brick and stone stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring three bays. The doorway, located to the left of centre, has a wood lintel, a plank door, and a 20th-century gabled timber porch. To the left of the doorway is a three-light casement window, while the second bay from the left has a similar two-light window, both positioned under a continuous wood lintel. To the right of the doorway, there is a three-light casement window with a wood lintel and original moulded wood mullions, and a similar four-light window in the right bay. The first-floor casement windows have stop-chamfered wood lintels, with a three-light window in the left bay, two lights to the right of centre, and four lights in the right bay, all featuring original wood mullions. The house also has 20th-century gabled attic dormers, and all windows are fitted with leaded panes. The left gable end is coped with kneelers. There is a left extension from the 18th century, constructed of squared coursed ironstone with a slate roof and a brick stack, which is one storey and one bay, featuring a three-light casement window with a wood lintel.
