Description
Ashtree House is an 18th-century house located on Crick Oak Lane. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a tile roof and features flanking brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a total of five bays. The central doorway has a wooden lintel and a four-panel door with an overlight above. On either side of the doorway, there are two-light transomed casement windows with wooden lintels, and similar windows are found on the first floor. The house also has 20th-century gabled half dormers and coped gable ends.
To the right, there is an extension that was likely a former barn, which is now part of the dwelling. This extension is also 18th-century, made of coursed squared ironstone with a tile roof, and has two storeys and two bays. It features a central doorway with a wooden lintel and a 20th-century door, along with two-light casement windows on either side, and two-light casement windows with wooden lintels on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
