Description

This early 19th century house is located on the north side of Park Street, Towcester. It is constructed of painted brick with slate roofs and has brick end and ridge stacks. The house follows a three-unit plan and has a symmetrical five-window facade. The right-of-centre entrance features a six-panel door with panelled reveals, an ornamental overlight, and a timber columned porch. To the left of the door is a plank door with overlight, and to its right is a 12-pane sash window with a rendered head. The first floor has 12-pane sashes alternating with blank windows, all with flat-arched heads. The second floor mirrors the first with 6-pane sashes alternating with blank windows and similar flat-arched heads. The building has nogged brick eaves. Flanking the original entrance are 20th-century bay windows.
