Description

This is an early 19th century house located on the south side of Kidderminster Road in Bewdley. It is constructed of painted brick with a slate roof, featuring a rear chimney stack. The house is three storeys high and has three windows on each floor. The windows are timber sashes: two 16-pane sashes flank an 8-pane sash on the ground and upper floors, and similar windows are present on the second floor. All windows have stone sills and segmental stone heads. The ground floor entrance is approached by three stone steps leading to a fluted wooden doorcase with paterae in the corners, a shallow flat canopy, and a half-glazed door. To the right of the entrance is an architrave framing the entrance to a passageway, with a 19th century ledged and boarded door. A dentilled brick cornice runs along the top of the building. Late 20th century alterations have occurred.
