Description

Lankester House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Kidderminster Road in Wribbenhall, Bewdley. The house is constructed of brick with a slate roof, and features gable end stacks. It is three storeys high, with a dentilled brick cornice. The front facade has three windows on each floor. The upper floors contain 16-pane sashes, while the second floor windows are similar but with 8-pane and 6-pane sashes. The ground floor has two 16-pane sashes flanking a central entrance. The entrance is framed by a pilastered wooden doorcase with an open pediment, a radially glazed fanlight, and a six-panel door. To the right of the main entrance is a passageway with a plastered wedge lintel, a blind overlight, and a ledged and boarded door. Late 20th-century alterations have occurred.
