Description
Nos 1 and 3 (Severn View) is a house that has been divided into two homes. It dates from the mid-17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and has a tiled roof with rear stacks.
The south-east front features three storeys and a gable-lit attic, with brick coped verges and a dentilled brick cornice, along with flush stone bands. On this side, there are three windows grouped on the right half of the front, with a blocked opening visible to the left on each floor. The windows include 2-light casements flanking a 3-light casement on the second floor, and a 3-light casement on the ground floor. The entrance to no 1 is roughly central to the left of the window, featuring a moulded architrave, a flat canopy, and a recessed half-glazed door with a 2-pane overlight. The entrance to no 3 is located at the right-hand corner and has a wooden architrave with a door made of six raised and fielded panels.
The south-west front is gabled and has a 3-light casement on each floor, set in deep chamfered reveals.
