Description

Minster House comprises two houses dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century and the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of painted brick with a tile roof.

The north-west front is two storeys high, featuring a dentil brick cornice and bands marking the ground and first floors. It has two windows. An advanced section with a cat-slide roof is positioned over a porch on the right-hand side. To the left of the porch is a 20-pane sash window with a rubbed brick head. To the right is a boxed glazing bar sash window within a larger, now blocked, opening with a segmental head. The ground floor features a tripartite sash window to the left and a top-hung casement window to the right. The entrance to number 2 is within a porch, which has a wooden architrave and a six-panel door. A 16-pane sash window is situated to the right of the door, also within the porch. The entrance to number 1 is on the north-east return front.
