Description

This is a late 18th/early 19th century house located on the south side of Main Street, Wilberfoss. The house is constructed of brown brick with a pantiled roof. It is two storeys high and has a three-bay facade. The central entrance features a panelled door with an etched glass decorative panel within its reveals and an overhanging soffit. The doorcase is framed by fluted pilasters and topped with a cornice supported on consoles. Two early 20th century square bay windows with casements and leaded lights are positioned to the right and left of the main entrance. The first floor has three two-light windows, each with sills beneath cambered lintels that have projecting key blocks. The roofline has end stacks and raised coped gables with shaped kneelers.
