Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house on Main Street, Stamford Bridge. It is constructed of brown brick with a pantiled roof. The symmetrical front elevation is two stories with three bays. The central entrance features a four-panel door with an overlight containing glazing bars. It is flanked on either side by four-pane sash windows with sills, each set beneath a flat brick arch. The first floor has three sliding sash windows with glazing bars and sills, each set under a timber lintel. The building has a dentilled brick eaves cornice, end stacks, and tumbled brickwork to the raised gables. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the area.
