Description
This is a late 18th-century house on Front Street, Lockington. It is constructed of brown brick laid in an English garden wall bond pattern, with a pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. A rear outshut extends to the rear. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a fanlight containing glazing bars, set within a pilastered doorcase. Flanking the door are ground-floor windows, each a sixteen-pane sash with sills, set beneath cambered brick arches. The first floor has a twelve-pane sash above the door, and sixteen-pane sashes to the left and right. A dentilled brick eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, with end stacks and plain close verges.
