Description

Fairfield Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of brown brick in English garden wall bond and has a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and features a symmetrical elevation with three bays, arranged in an L-shaped plan. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, which is set beneath a flat brick arch. This door is flanked by four-pane sash windows that are placed under cambered brick arches. On the first floor, there are similar four-pane sash windows. The house has end stacks and a hipped roof on the right side, with plain close verges on the left.
