Description
Carr Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with a later parallel range added to the rear. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with a four-bay arrangement of 2:1:1. The entrance consists of a 20th-century boarded door set beneath a flat gauged brick arch. The windows are 4-pane sashes with sills, all positioned under flat brick arches. On the first floor, there are also 4-pane sashes with sills under flat brick arches. The house has end and axial stacks, with tumbled-in brick at the raised gables. There is a boarded taking-in door that provides access to the attics.
