Description

LOCKINGTON SE 94 NE 2/35 Hall Garth 16/46 - II

House. 1685, on carved datestone over door, with C18 and later extensions to rear. Red brick, plain tile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with projecting porch and later rear wing. Porch: ground floor: round-headed opening under guaged brick arch to C19 panelled door. Datestone over. First floor: 16-pane sash with sill under wedge lintel. 2-light mullioned window under wedge lintel to coped gable, on kneelers, with finials. The remainder of the main range has 16-pane sashes with sills and wedge lintels to first and second floors. Coped gables with finials, rear wall stacks. Interior not inspected.
