Description
The Rockingham Arms is a public house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, originally colour-washed, with a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays arranged as a 1:1:2 pattern. The ground floor features a six-panel door set beneath a fanlight, flanked by two 24-pane sash windows with sills, all set within cambered brick arches. The first floor has three 16-pane sash windows with sills, and a blank opening above the entrance door. The building has end stacks. The raised gables are finished with tumbled-in brickwork.
