Description
Vine House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick in Flemish bond and features a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical elevation with three bays. The entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels and includes an overlight with latticed glazing bars, all set within a doorcase that has fluted Doric half-columns supporting an entablature. The windows are four-pane sashes with sills and shutters, positioned under flat gauged brick arches. There is a first-floor band and three similar windows on the first floor. The house is topped with a stepped brick eaves cornice, has end stacks, and displays tumbled-in brick at the raised gables.
