Description

The Manor House is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick with a timber eaves cornice and has slate roofs. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. The entrance features a door with six raised and fielded panels, which includes an over light set in panelled reveals and soffit, all framed by a Doric doorcase topped with a 20th-century entablature. On the ground floor, there are three four-pane sash windows with sills positioned beneath slightly cambered brick arches. The first floor also has four similar sash windows. The house is finished with a moulded timber eaves cornice, and it has end and axial stacks along with raised coped gables.
