Description
School House is a late 18th-century house located on Church Lane in Cottingwith. The house is constructed of brown brick with a pantile roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a continuous rear outshut. The front door consists of six raised and fielded panels with an overlight; it is flanked by 20th-century replacement windows with glazing bars. Three similar windows are located on the first floor; all openings are set within segmental brick arches. The building has a dentilled brick eaves cornice, end stacks, and raised coped gables. The property is included on the list for its group value.
