Description

The Elms is a house built in the late 18th century, with later additions on the right side. It is constructed of orange brick and features a pantiled roof. The house has two storeys and four bays, arranged in a T-shaped plan. The entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels and includes an overlight with glazing bars, all set within a Tuscan porch. The windows on the ground floor are four-pane sashes with sills, positioned under wedge lintels that have raised keyblocks. On the first floor, there are also four-pane sashes with sills, but these are set under cambered brick arches. The building has end and axial stacks and plain close verges.
