Description

Orchard Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of brown brick and features a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical two-bay elevation, with a continuous rear outshut. The front entrance consists of a 20th-century door flanked by 20th-century nine-pane windows, all set under wedge lintels. On the first floor, there are sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The house has raised gables and external end stacks.
