Description
The Old Rectory Hotel is a rectory that has been converted into a hotel, built in 1854. It features grey brick and stucco with slate roofs, and is two storeys high with three bays. The central bay projects forward and contains a central panelled door with an overlight, surrounded by a stuccoed frame with round-headed sidelights beneath a pediment supported by fluted brackets. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and have sills under cambered brick arches, with a sill band on the central bay. The first floor has similar sash windows with a sill band. The building has a hipped roof and axial stacks. The right elevation includes a two-storey canted bay on the left, featuring sash windows with glazing bars under a hipped roof.
