Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a cast-tile roof, and has an L-shaped plan with a later infill section. The main elevation is two storeys high and consists of three bays. A 20th-century porch with a panelled and glazed door sits centrally, flanked by 16-pane sash windows with shutters, all set within segmental brick arches. A first-floor band runs along the elevation. Further 16-pane sash windows, also within segmental brick arches, are located on the first floor. Chimneys are placed at the ends of the building, and the gables have raised copings. The right gable wall incorporates some small, re-used pieces of ashlar.
