Description

This is a mid-18th century barn located on Main Street in Sutton on Derwent. The barn is constructed of brown brick with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and three bays, with the central bay projecting forward to accommodate opposing entries. A boarded door is flanked by ventilation slits, and there are two 20th-century two-light windows to the right. The first floor has ventilation slits. A series of cross-shaped ventilation slits are situated below a dentilled eaves cornice, and raised gables top the structure. Boarded wagon doors are present on the rear elevation.
