Description
This is a barn located at East Farm, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof. The barn has two storeys and is divided into three bays, with the central bay projecting forward at both the front and rear to accommodate opposing wagon entrances. Each floor includes paired ventilation slits, with two slits per bay. The barn has a stepped brick eaves cornice and raised gables with tumbled-in brickwork. Inside, the roof is supported by principal rafters with collars, along with tusked and tenoned side purlins.
