Description
This is a barn located at Pudding Norton Hall, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and has a red pantiled roof. The barn features a three-stead design with an outshut and a gabled cart porch on the north side. The south front has central cart doors set under a segmental arch, which has been partly filled in with 20th-century brick. The facade is divided by a plat-band into two storeys, with eight honey-comb brick ventilation windows on either side. There are buttresses on the east and west sides, and the gables are parapeted. The west gable includes a blocked window, an eaves level plat-band, two gable windows, and a diamond ventilation window with honey-comb brick infill. Additionally, there is a flint and brick barn attached to the north. This barn is listed for its group value with Pudding Norton Hall.
