Description
The Green is a house that was formerly an inn, built around 1830. It features blue-washed brick and black glazed pantiles. The facade has four bays and is two stories high, with two ground-floor and four first-floor sash windows that have glazing bars, all set under rubbed brick arches. The entrance includes a six-panel door, with the uppermost panels glazed, and a segmental fanlight with glazing bars, also set in two rubbed brick segmental arches. There is a segmental rubbed brick carriage arch to the west, which has boarded gates. The building has two end stacks. At the rear, there is an attached range made of flint and brick from the 18th century, which includes one ground-floor and one first-floor sash window, as well as one blocked window and one part-glazed door.
