Description

No. 3 Swan Street is probably of 17th-century origin, although it was re-faced with brick in the 18th century and is now painted. It has a pantile roof with gabled ends, brick dentil eaves, and two storeys with an attic, featuring a window in the gable end. The front of the building has two windows. The upper windows are sash windows with two and three panes of glass, while the ground floor windows have one and two panes. A heavy doorcase is set within a segmental-headed opening. A later brick buttress is visible on the left-hand side of the front wall.
