Description

The bridge over the River Wensum, built in 1833, is constructed of yellow brick and features three low round arches, with the center arch being slightly larger. It has rounded cutwaters and a stone string course. Above this is a brick parapet topped with stone coping, flanked by octagonal piers at each end. The center section includes three cast iron railings with stone piers in between, although one pier is missing. This bridge was built in place of a ford.
