Description
The Bell Inn is an 18th-century public house. It has a red pantiled roof and plastered walls. The building has a three-bay facade and has been extended. The ground floor has four windows, which are late 19th-century casements with frosted glass panels. The first floor has three sash windows with glazing bars. There is an off-centre door with a scrolled bracketed canopy and a partially glazed panel. A central quoined bay projects forward. The building features end quoins, a first-floor plat-band, and moulded eaves. A stack is set into the south end parapet. A north outshut extends to the road. A two-storey extension to the south has two windows on the ground floor and one window on the first floor, featuring 19th-century casements with plate glass and an end stack. The extensions are faced and roofed with materials matching the earlier house.
