Description

This is a barn located to the east of Hall Farmhouse, dated 1742 on the west gable tie ends. The barn has two storeys and features arched honeycomb ventilation openings, most of which are blocked. There are two central cart entrances facing each other, with one of them blocked, and both have shallow rubbed brick arches. The gables display sawtooth cornices and tumbling-in. The roof consists of ten bays, with intermediate ties, two sets of staggered diagonally set butt purlins, and two collars per truss.
