Description

The Cottage is a former farmhouse dating from around 1800 and later. It features rendered masonry with black pantile roofs. A rear wing, including the northernmost bay of the facade, was added to create an L-shaped plan. The irregular facade consists of five bays of sash windows with glazing bars. There is a modern porch with a broken pediment, and plain pilasters frame the former four-bay facade. A brick dentil cornice is present, and the roof is hipped at the north end. There is one axial stack that was formerly gable-end to the main block. Inside, the principal transverse beams have ogee and nicked chamfer stops. The Cottage is included for its group value with "Corner Cottage."
