Description
The Old Vicarage is a late 18th-century house, with 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of brown brick with a timber eaves cornice and a slate roof. The house has two storeys and attic space, arranged in a symmetrical three-bay pattern. A central gabled porch features a door with round-headed panels, round-headed side windows, a timber fascia and cornice, all under a flat roof. Sashes with glazing bars and sills are set under cambered wedge lintels on the ground floor to the right and left of the porch. The first floor has three similar sash windows. A dentilled timber eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, with end stacks and raised, coped gables resting on shaped kneelers. A fluted and waisted bell-shaped rainwater head and downpipe are located on the left side of the building.
