Description

Church Bridge is a bridge that likely dates from the late medieval period, with some later alterations. It is constructed of ashlar stone, with repairs made in red brick. The bridge features a single-chamfered pointed arch that is slightly recessed on the sides, supporting a ramped bridge deck. The balustrade and rail were added in the 20th century. This structure is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
