Description
Reindeer Antiques is a shop that was formerly a public house and coaching inn. It dates from the early 18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed from coursed squared limestone and features a plain-tile roof with brick end stacks. It is two stories high and has a five-window range with a two-unit plan. The central door is blocked, and there are a pair of canted bay windows on the ground floor. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows with wood lintels. A storey band and a hipped roof dormer are also present. At the rear right, there is a two-story, two-window extension that has a modern entrance with a 20th-century door and wood lintel. Inside, the building features chamfered spine beams.
