Description
Pathfinder Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof, along with rendered end and ridge stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range, following a three-unit plan. There is a 20th-century door located to the left of the center, which has a wooden lintel above it. The cottage has two-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors, with the upper windows set in eyebrow dormers, all featuring wooden lintels. The right end bay is a later addition, marked by a straight joint. Inside, the cottage includes spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer. It was formerly known as the Pest House.
