Description

This is a shop and dwelling, likely dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed from roughly-coursed limestone rubble, with a slate and asbestos tile roof, and brick ridge and end stacks. It has a three-part layout and originally featured a five-window facade. A 20th-century shop door is located to the right of the centre, above a wooden lintel. The ground and first floors have three-light casement windows with wooden lintels. A section to the left of the centre shows evidence of an earlier raising, likely from the 18th or early 19th century. A lower, two-storey, one-window extension is situated to the right, incorporating a dormer window. The interior contains stop-chamfered spine beams and a stone cellar.
