Description
The Old Post Office is a late 17th or early 18th century cottage that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, now rendered, with a thatched roof and brick ridge and end stacks. The cottage is two storeys and an attic, with a two-window front. The plan is of two units. A plank door is located to the left of centre, with a three-light casement window to the right of the door. Otherwise, the ground and first floors have two-light casement windows, all with rendered window heads. A two-storey, one-bay brick extension is located to the left. The interior was not inspected.
