Description

Manor House Farm is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 17th century with alterations from the 18th century. It is built of regularly coursed lias stone and topped with a slate roof. The structure features a three-unit plan with a cross wing on the left side. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The entrance is located in the cross wing and features a stone lintel with a keystone and a 19th-century half-glazed door. To the right of the entrance are three sash windows with glazing bars, each having stone lintels with keyblocks. The first floor has two two-light stone mullions. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar parapets and have brick and stone stacks at the ridge and ends. The rear and sides of the building are similar, also featuring stone mullions. There is a 19th and 20th-century extension on the left side.

Inside, there is a round-headed arch to the right of the rear entrance hall. The drawing room to the left of the entrance contains a late 17th-century open fire with a moulded stone surround. This room also has three moulded beams, each with central rosette decoration, and a dogleg stair.
