Description
This is an outbuilding located approximately 15 meters northwest of Number 37 on Weldon Chapel Road. It was likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century. The structure is made of squared coursed limestone and features a slate roof. It has a single-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. There is a plank door on the left side, which is set under a wooden lintel. The gable ends are finished with ashlar parapets, and there is an ashlar stack at one end. The left gable includes a window opening with bars, also under a wooden lintel. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have an open fireplace with a bressumer and ceiling beams. The building may have originally served a domestic purpose. It is included in the listing for its group value.
