Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 2 meters southwest of Church Farmhouse, is likely a former brewhouse or bakehouse dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The building has a single-storey, one-unit plan with one bay, which includes a plank door set beneath a wooden lintel. The gabled roof is half hipped to the right and has a brick stack on the left side. The rear elevation contains a casement window also under a wooden lintel. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have a large open fireplace. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the nearby Church Farmhouse.
