Description

This outbuilding, located approximately 10 meters northeast of Eaglethorpe Farmhouse, is a coach house and brewhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands two stories high. It has a three-window range of casements with wood lintels and various doorways on the ground floor. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar parapets. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a bressumer. The building was used as a dwelling for some time and is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
