Description

No. 3, West Street is a house dating from the early 19th century, although it likely has earlier origins. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof. Originally, the building comprised only one main section. It is two storeys high with a two-window front. The first floor has horizontal sliding sash windows. A casement window with glazing bars is located on the ground floor to the left, and sits beneath a wooden lintel. A 19th-century part-glazed door, also beneath a wooden lintel, is positioned on the right. A stone stack rises from the roof ridge. Rear extensions date to the 19th century. The interior has not been inspected. The building is of group value.
